“Fools Don't See” Is a response to the Black Lives Matter Movement. The work is inspired by participation in the protests in London in 2020. The figures in the work have a similar appearance to that of Dolls. For Dolls have been around since ancient civilisation throughout the entire world, and they play a huge role in shaping our behaviour. Each figure holds a sign, upon the signs are messages from the BLM movement as well as lines from Roots Reggae music. The words can only be read through shining a UV light torch upon them.
